Beach Hut Football Club
Beach Hut Football Club, the first-ever-all-girls football club in the Philippines, passionately destroys barriers in a male-dominated sport. More than just a club, we’re a groundbreaking movement empowering young girls to pursue their football dreams. Our passion lies in nurturing talent and providing access to top quality tournaments, and training opportunities especially for those from diverse backgrounds. Our mission transcends the pitch; it’s about shaping strong, confident, young women poised to excel in life, molding them into formidable individuals ready to make their mark in the world. Beach Hut Football Club; pioneering a new era, turning dreams into reality, honing talents, and helping young girls become champions in football and in life.
Currently, Beach Hut Football Club has 40 talented scholars from Luzon & Visayas, providing them with unparalleled opportunities to hone their skills both locally and internationally. Our program not only nurtures their football talents but also paves the way for their futures.
Several of our scholars have earned call-ups to the Philippine National Team and secured University Scholarships, a testament to the impact and success of our advocacy. Beach Hut Football Club is committed to giving these girls equal opportunities to showcase their abilities and be recognized, helping them carve their paths in football and beyond.
Play It Forward: Beach Hut Football Club and Laura Vicuna Foundation Empower Girls Through Football
Dragon Edge Group, through Beach Hut Football Club (BHFC), proudly kicked off its latest initiative, Play It Forward, in collaboration with the Laura Vicuna Foundation (LVF) last August 28, 2025. The program aims to give young girls a chance to explore the world of sports while opening doors to brighter opportunities through football.
The Laura Vicuna Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and empowering young girls at risk, helping them build a future filled with dignity, education, and hope. Meanwhile, Beach Hut Football Club, the Philippines’ pioneering all-women football club, champions female athletes and inspires the next generation by promoting both excellence in sports and inclusivity on and off the field.
During the Play It Forward kickoff event, LVF girls participated in a BHFC training session, where they were introduced to football by BHFC coaches and players. The day was filled with energy, teamwork, and passion as the girls experienced firsthand the sport’s empowering spirit.
What makes the initiative even more inspiring is that eight LVF girls have expressed interest in continuing their training with BHFC. This opportunity not only nurtures their athletic potential but also creates pathways toward possible athletic scholarships in the future.

Beach Clean Up
On July 31, Dragon Edge Group (DEG) and its pioneering brand, Beach Hut Sunscreen, proved once again that their commitment extends far beyond creating mediocrity-busting products. In partnership with Tidy Up the Tides, more than 70 passionate DEGsters came together for a meaningful beach clean-up activity at Subic Bay Freeport Zone, reinforcing the company’s advocacy for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Armed with gloves, sacks, and the spirit of teamwork, the DEG community collected nearly 900 pieces of trash, filling 39 sacks with waste that weighed a total of 182 kilograms after segregation. From plastic bottles and wrappers to discarded fishing gear, every piece removed from the shoreline was a step toward protecting marine life and preserving the beauty of Philippine coasts.
For a company born under the sun—with Beach Hut Sunscreen leading the way in sun protection—protecting our beaches is not just an activity, but an advocacy that reflects the very core of Dragon Edge Group’s mission.

Cycles and Cradle Recycling Bin
In 2024, Cycles and Cradle proudly launched the “Safe for Babies, Kind to Earth” campaign, a new initiative focused on promoting sustainability and protecting our planet for future generations. This campaign underscores our commitment to providing eco-friendly baby products while ensuring a greener future for our little ones.
To kick off this sustainability campaign, we introduced the Cycles and Cradle Recycling Bin, in partnership with Green Trident. We’re inviting all No Compromise Parents to join us in recycling the Cycles and Cradle way! They can simply bring clean, empty Cycles and Cradle packaging to any of our collection bins across Metro Manila.
Parents who donate 10 pieces of used packaging will receive an exclusive discount on NurseryVan.com, making it easier to continue purchasing the baby-safe products you love while supporting the environment.
Once our recycling bins are full, Green Trident takes over by converting the collected packaging into Poly Al Pro Boards—a sustainable alternative to wood and cement. This process not only reduces plastic waste but also supports broader sustainability efforts by repurposing materials into eco-friendly solutions.

Since 2019, Cycles and Cradle have been dedicated to reducing plastic waste by offering convenient refills for our well-loved products: Cycles Mild Laundry Detergent and Cradle Natural Bottle & Nipple Cleanser. Laura Vicuña Foundation
Established in 1990, the Laura Vicuña Foundation, Inc. empowers vulnerable children in need of special protection through comprehensive education and development programs. Initially focused on street children in Metro Manila, the foundation now supports sexually abused, trafficked, and exploited girls, out-of-school youth, child laborers, and other at-risk children. Committed to restoring their faith in themselves, others, and society, the foundation provides continuous educational and developmental support to help these children become honest, productive, and self-reliant citizens. Through its Journey of Hope program, the foundation advocates for the protection of children from abuse and exploitation.
DEG Scholarship Assistance Program
The Dragon Edge Group Educational Assistance Program is committed to supporting the educational aspirations of our employees’ children.
